 | I have a set of diamonds from a place called Helzberg. I bought them a few years ago and they are small and probably not worth much, but they are real and cost me a pretty penny. How do I know if Helzberg buys or imports from the slave markets of Africa?
| | I VOW NEVER TO WEAR OR PURCHASE DIAMONDS AGAIN. CERTIFICATES CAN BE FORGED, AND THE ONLY WAY TO KNOW WHETHER OR NOT YOU'RE WEARIN BLOOD DIAMONDS OR NO IS SIMPLY NOT TO WEAR THEM AT ALL.
| | 1.2% of the diamonds in the industry are possible conflict. dont forget from these african nations we also have blood timber, blood gold, blood oil, blood iron and the list goes on. stop being so stupid and placing the blame on diamonds. simple people only see the small picture. you want to make a change to the african's then stop using the knive's and forks you use for your dinner, the pencils you use to write with, the gold in your wedding rings, and the oil in your car.

| | i just finished watching the movie blood diamonds, and i wanted to find out whether the few diamonds i have are blood diamonds. i bought them from a small local jewelry store. i am hoping that they are okay since both are rings, and one was a present from my grandmother, and the other was a present for graduation, and both were expensive. im not sure if they are or not, but i do know that the movie has definitely changed my perspective on diamonds. and i am glad that there are people who actually care about these types of diamonds!
